Project Description

Another very happy customer with a new installation of MilktechNZ® electronic cup removers for Brandon Law. Based near Whakatane in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, they contract milk for Brandon’s parents Alan and Wendy.
They milk 400 cows through their 40 unit herringbone using a system 4 setup. The Laws are long time farmers in the area dating back to 1919 and with their first baby only a few weeks away, another generation is about to join the team.
Brandon said, “We love the dairy industry and milking cows but we know the importance of having a good environment for our team is essential to the milking experience. With reliability issues, and with parts no longer available for our old cup removers, it was time to upgrade. Choosing MilktechNZ® was an easy choice with neighbours and friends using them with all praising the equipment.
New Zealand made was also very appealing. Reusing our existing swingarms allowed us to reuse some of the old hardware. It certainly is a very well thought out system that has many great features. We love the fact it allows us in real time to change our milking settings to suit our herd. With no disruption to our milking routine, installation was seamless and carried out over a couple of days.”
When Brandon is away from the farm he is out on the jet ski on the sea and nearby lakes.
From the team at MilktechNZ® a big thanks to the Laws. We all wish you the very best!
