Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) is a worldwide problem for dairy farmers. A typical milking cluster weighs between 2kg to 2.5kg and the average heard is around 400 animals. This means that in a typical day a milker will lift one tonne per milking just to attach the cluster.
The MilktechNZ® MC-2 milking claw with the lightweight cup shells can reduce the overall weight of the cluster by 60%. Or to put it another way you can milk almost two times as many cows for the same effort.
